I am always looking for something different to make, especially for breakfast. I am doubly challenged because I like to have something for my hubby to eat, but he needs it to be portable. You can't eat scrambled eggs in the car and they are not so yummy reheated at work.
I found this recipe in the church cookbook from my friend Lynda and I was sorry that I hadn't seen it sooner. Simple. Yummy. Portable. Score!
What you'll need:
2 packages of crescent rolls
1 package of sausage patties
Cheese slices (I used American)
Brown the sausage patties. Unroll the crescent rolls and separate into triangles. Place a sausage patty in the middle of the triangle and top with a slice of cheese. Fold the crescent like a diaper. Bake according to package directions. You won't be disappointed!
What is your favorite breakfast food?
Keepin' it Real...D
These are DELICIOUS!!! I've made them a few times before...gotta love the church cookbook!! :) I make them with pepper-jack cheese. YUM!!
ReplyDeleteI knew Ryan wouldn't like the pepper-jack cheese so I just used American. I have found so many great recipes in the church cookbook. I hope we do another one soon. Tell your hubby to work on that...haha. :)
