I grew up on goulash. It was a cheap and easy meal to feed our big, and hungry, family. A long time ago, my friend from Sears gave me this recipe for a souped up version of goulash (thanks Joanie!!). Now, when goulash is on the menu, this is the version I usually make. It's hard to go back!
What you'll need:
1 package wide egg noodles
1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 pound of sausage
1 can tomato soup
1 can tomato sauce
1 can cream corn
2 cups shredded cheese
Cook the noodles and set aside. Brown the beef and sausage. Mix in soup, sauce, corn, and 1 cup of cheese. Mix meat mixture with noodles. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes, until cheese is bubbly.
Enjoy!
